Katana-ya – San Francisco, California – Good Value for Ramen – Broth Could Be Better
I checked this place out for lunch and there was actually no wait even though this place is small. I tried their Katana-ya Ramen which has corn, bbq pork, egg, spinach, fried chicken, and fried gyoza in it. I got the miso broth light. You can get light or rich and I chose light.
The ramen itself was good with the right chewy but firm texture. The broth was good but not quite as flavorful as I am used to. My favorite place for ramen right now is Shoki II in Sacramento. My brother-in-law, who had never had ramen from a restaurant before thought it was good.
