I honestly don’t know anyone who doesn’t like cookies! They’re warm, they’re easy to eat, and they’re straight-up delicious! However, I also never realized that there could be such elaborate cookies until I went to Crumbl Cookies here in Elk Grove! Located in the Costco Shopping center, Crumbl Cookie is the newest edition of the shopping center, and trust me, they do not disappoint!
Experience
There are two ways to order Crumbl Cookies. You can either order at the cash register, or on the iPad set up by the door. From there, you simply wait for them to call your name with your cookies, and you are free to go! Super great for all my fellow parents whose time is limited. But of course, you’re probably wondering, how do they taste?? Don’t worry, I have you covered!
Banana Bread Cookie
Starting off strong with the banana bread cookie! This cookie was soft and full of banana flavor. It genuinely tasted and felt like a slice of banana bread with light icing on the top. This wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet, yet I felt satisfied.
Funfetti
My second cookie was the funfetti flavor. This one was a bit disappointing, as it lacked any distinct flavor. Similar to funfetti cake, this cookie was very appealing for my young kids, but in terms of flavor, this wasn’t for me.
Biscoff Lava
Inspired by the cookie brand, Biscoff, this cookie was filled with a heavy cookie butter filling and then drizzled with the butter. Needless to say, this was bursting with flavor! Although the cookie butter was a bit heavy when combined with the cookie base, it didn’t matter because the cookie was delicious!
Cotton Candy
Wow! This one was sweet! Cotton Candy flavored icing, topped with frosting covered pop rocks, I could only have a bite or two of this! While it was good, this was definitely more for the kids. I guess that’s the sad part of having an adult palette!
Milk Chocolate Chip
This is one of two cookies that is always on the menu (the first four I tried are on a rotation that changes weekly), so I figured it had to be good if it’s always on the menu. I was right! This cookie is thick and warm with huge milk chocolate chips that add to the sweetness! Maybe I’m an old soul, but this one was one of my favorites! It was simply the perfect bite!
Chilled Sugar Cookie
This was the other flavor that stays on the menu all the time. This cookie was served cold, and I actually enjoyed this. It allowed for the frosting to harden a bit, making the bite easy and delicious. The sugar cookie itself has almond flavor to it, so this was not your average sugar cookie! You shouldn’t miss this one!
Overall
Crumbl Cookies is a great place to check out if you’re looking for a satisfying dessert! The flavors are diverse and fun, the customer service is great, and the cookies will definitely make you happy! Go give them a try, and let me know what you think!
