I went back to Guppy recently after not having been here for a few years. I was not disappointed! Guppy has good food and pretty cheap prices. It’s a great place for an inexpensive meal.
We ordered the popcorn chicken and the beef noodle soup. The popcorn chicken was pretty good and I noticed they give you a pretty good quantity. We actually winded up taking some home. The beef noodle soup was very tasty with just the right amount of noodles and chewy little pieces of beef. I enjoyed the preserved cabbage served on the side. My husband and I also ordered a blended mint mocha and a strawberry mango smoothie with lychee jelly. The mint mocha was good, with a slight minty taste. The smoothie tasted very fresh and I could tell they actually used fresh strawberry and mango. You’ve gotta try the butter coconut toast!
We did have to wait about 20 minutes for a table but the wait really wasn’t bad. I wouldn’t come here if you’re in a hurry to eat though.
Overall, the food was good, the prices were extremely reasonable, and the servers were polite and helpful. I’ll be back here for sure.
