I went to Hokkaido Ramen today with Kenny. All of my friends have been talking about it so I was happy that Kenny got off early enough today to actually be able to go out to dinner. Hokkaido is in Sacramento on Broadway near Tower Cafe. So we went and got the House Special Ramen and the Spicy Miso Ramen. The ramen was pretty good. I loved the broth and the fact that it came with corn, a half boiled egg, and pork. The noodles themselves are slightly better at Shoki Ramen because they are a bit more al dente. But that being said, I will probably be coming to Hokkaido more often because Shoki is really small, you have to wait a long time to get a table, and Shoki’s services is terrible. The customer service at Hokkaido was great! They even invited us to have free sake tastings afterwards and gave us free mochi ice cream!
