A Jax Update – Jax Chronicles Is Now A Business!!

I have a pretty big Jax update. My new website design is live! Also, Jax Chronicles is now a business and I am closing down my other business Go Jade Solutions. I already filed for and received my business license for Jax Chronicles.
The past few years my life has been a whirlwind both personally and professionally. It wasn’t just that I got pregnant and Carissa was born. Somehow I branched out from my beginning as a foodie blogger and became a mommy blogger as well. But it’s not just a way for me to review food, post recipes, and talk about my family. My blog also strives to uplift people and businesses in my local community, advocate for child adoption, and support other families trying to adopt or conceive.
In the midst of adjusting to life with 2 girls and branching out my blog. In the year 2016, I realized I could write sponsored blog posts, as well as sell paid advertisements (ad space) on my blog, and implement social media blasts for local companies. So I began to do so. Jax Chronicles continues to function as a foodie, mommy, adoption advocacy, parenting, and local events blog. However, my work and income has grown to the point where I am doing more with Jax Chronicles than with my other business Go Jade Solutions. This is why I am choosing to close Go Jade Solutions at this time. I also began to network and am now working as a Freelance Writer as well. You’ve probably noticed that I now write for the Elk Grove Laguna News and Sacramento4Kids. Being a Blogger and a Freelance Writer fits in well with my schedule as a mom. I have also started ghost writing for businesses around town. I tend to do a lot of posts when my kids are asleep at night or during the day when Carissa is napping.
