We all shared:
-risotto with chanterelle and applewood bacon
-seared polenta with Italian sausage, sauteed broccoli, mozzarella, parmesan, and pepperonata
-a pepperoni and mushroom pizza
-pizza with chickpeas, sausage, roasted portabella, onions and mozzarella
Every single bite was flavorful and heavenly. One Speed is known for their pizzas. I can tell you I was super excited that I had one slice of leftover pizza for lunch tomorrow. I loved the roasted portabella on the pizza. The crusts were a little crispy and not too doughy. The risotto was among the best I have ever tasted (my favorite is my husband’s). It was super moist, with perfectly blended flavors and you could just taste the fresh ingredients. You really can’t go wrong with the pizza or the risotto!
The service was pretty good. My only complaint is that it was pretty loud in there. But that being said, I would go here again in a heartbeat. I’ll be back here again soon to try the gnocchi!
Let’s hope they post a Groupon for this place! *hint hint*
P.S. Sorry the pics are a little fuzzy. I forgot my camera so I used my iPhone but it doesn’t have an image stabilizer.
