5 stars baby! This place really impressed me. Excellent food upscale food in a cozy atmosphere. It’s really homey and welcoming.
I took a friend here for her birthday. I was a little thrown off because this place is actually closer to Wilton off a rural country road and not near any other place I usually go to. You pretty much take Laguna until it turns into Bond, make a left on Grant Line Road, and wonder what the heck you’re doing. But once I stepped inside, I realized that there is more to more to this place than first meets the eye. It’s really cute inside and the menu had me drooling.
I got the Niman Ranch Pork Chop stuffed with Granny Smith apples, applewood smoked bacon, and sage served with sparkling cider cream sauce and mashed potatoes. It was phenomenal. Usually when I I eat a pork chop at a restaurant I either like it or hate it. This pork chop rocked my world. I’m drooling just thinking about it. I was so juicy and tender and flavorful. The entree included a very yummy winter vegetable soup. It comes with either soup or salad. I loved the soup. There was sooooo much food!
Their dessert tray is awesome and you really can’t go wrong with any of the lovingly concocted desserts. We shared the bread pudding and it was really delicious. It had homemade whipped cream on top. Yummy!
I am really happy that I found this place. I really recommend this to anybody looking for upscale food in a cozy atmosphere with great value. This would be a great place for a date night, a birthday, or a special event. It would also be great to take out a large family.
