I really liked this place. First of all its family owned and the customer service is great. Second, you can tell the food is made with love and care.
We ordered a bowl of pomegranate soup, the koudideh kabob, and it came with zereshk polo basmati rice. The pomegranate soup had lentils, beans, wheat, spinach and herbs cooked with pomegranate juice. It was savory and sweet yet also tart and flavorful at the same time. The beef koudideh kabob was very tasty and I loved the flavoril zerechk polo that was served with it. I had a taste of my friend’s adasi which was brown rice cooked with lentils, mung beans, and squash. I loved this dish! It was really simple but flavorful and hearty at the same time. She got hers with lamb. I don’t even like lamb. It usually makes me gag and this lamb was really good. I will probably get the adasi and the pomegranate soup the next time I go back.
I tried the Turkish delight for dessert. It was a bit sweet but perfectly for a one bite palate cleansing dessert. I will definitely go back here. I like this place even better than Bandar and that’s saying a lot! Try the pomegranate soup!
