My husband and I thought the food The Fish Market was fabulous. Definitely come here if you need a quick bite on the go when you’re in Lahaina and love fresh fish!
We tried the seared ahi sandwich, the ahi poke, and the baja mahi mahi fish tacos. I’ve honestly never had ahi in a sandwich before but this sandwich rocked my world. It was exploding with flavor and the outside of the ahi was slightly seared but you could still taste the raw part of the fresh fish. The ahi poke was serious business with the usual soy sauce, onions, green onion, chili, and sesame oil. My husband and I both agreed that this was among the best ahi poke we’ve ever had. The baja mahi mahi fish tacos were fried on the outside so that made it crispy and I loved the sauce that the tacos were topped with.
We got our food to go and by the time we drove back to where we were staying we had already finished our food. We went to The Fish Market AGAIN before we left Lahaina and the 2nd time we went, we made sure to order 2 seared ahi tuna sandwiches, along with tacos and the ahi poke.
Don’t think, just go here! It’s quick, cheap, and has great fresh fish. Nom nom nom. =)
