I’ve been blogging lately all about our adoption of Roxy. I thought I’d take a break with a quick foodie post. I was very excited to try the cronut. So far my favorite cronut has been a cream filled cronut from Sweet Dozen Bakery in Sacramento. Today, someone has come up with the wonut, a half waffle half donut combination. Now, I’m still trying to figure out how it’s made. I am assuming the waffle batter recipe is modified, a waffle maker is used to make the wonut, and then it’s iced and decorated like a donut. Whatever the case, I can’t wait until this foodie crazy hits Nor Cal and I can go try it. Whoever brings me a wonut will get….hmmmmmmm…..a cat???
