My co-workers and I got a chocolate cake from here for a work party a few weeks ago and it was delicious. I was surprised to find out that Trey B has a lunch menu and today I decided to check it out. The food is really high quality and it surpassed my expectations by a mile. I had the half sandwich/soup combo. I ordered the steak sandwich with havarti cheese and the tomato bisque soup. The steak was seasoned very well and was cooked the way I wanted it (I specified medium) and the bread was nicely toasted. The tomato soup was great. I would have licked the bowl if nobody was around. I liked the way they threw homemade croutons in the soup. They also had a meatball sandwich and chicken sandwich option. There is a small breakfast menu with breakfast sandwiches and quiche.
I also had a lemon bar and tried the honey lavendar and stracciatella (vanilla gelato with chocolate flakes). The lemon bar was just as a lemon bar should be, sweet but a bit tangy. I loved the stracciatella gelato. The honey lavendar was also very good. If you’re a gelato fan, you’ve gotta try this place.
Basically, I’m a pretty happy camper. I didn’t have any issues, the food was good, and the customer service was excellent. I really love the fact that this bakery also serves lunch. I see myself going back here regularly. I’m 100% sure my husband is going to want to try the steak sandwich.
