Update: July 25 & 26, The Days We Found Out We Had Gifts From God
July 25 and 26 are very special days to me and Kenny. In 2013, July 26 was the day that we got the referral to adopt Roxy. It was the day we found out we had a daughter. I also just realized it was exactly 1 year ago today on July 25 that I found out I was pregnant! We still look upon Carissa as our little miracle. We had made our peace with adoption. If that was how God wanted us to create a family, that’s how we would do it. I didn’t hope to conceive. But when I didn’t have any hope of conceiving, Carissa came to be. So today Kenny and I are thankful for our 2 blessings from God.
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
