Update: Roxy’s 1st Giants Game
We just got back from a great weekend. This past weekend we went to San Francisco and took Roxy to her 1st Giants game. The Giants lost to the Dodgers but we had fun anyway. The weather was perfect for San Francisco. It wasn’t too cold and was actually hot enough to wear shorts and capris. It was also nice to get away from the heat in Sacramento. Now anybody who knows my husband also knows that he is a sports fanatic. He was born in New York so his teams are the Knicks, the Kings (if they are’t playing the Knicks), the SF Giants, and the 49ers. Roxy had jerseys and t shirts and hoodies and jackets for each of these teams well before we actually went to China to adopt her!
We obtained some free Giants tickets because my Mom is kind of a big deal at Dignity Health, one of the corporate sponsors of the Giants. So we enjoyed the weekend. We met up with my cousin and her husband and stuffed our faces at the Ferry Building and also took a walk on Embarcadero by the Bay Bridge and Cupid’s Span. Then we made our way to the ballpark. Roxy enjoyed her 1st taste of garlic fries. One of the best parts was when they sang “Take Me Out To The Ballgame.” I was holding Roxy and she laughed and waved her arms and started bobbing her head to the tune. That girl really LOVES music! I can’t think of a better way to spend the weekend than to just enjoy an all American past time with my family. I wish you could have all heard Roxy screaming “Bustaaaa Poseeeey!”
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
XOXO Jax
