My husband Kenny and I are on cloud 9. We have a daughter! We got a referral (child match) at the end of July and on August 1st we sent in our Letter of Intent (to adopt). A lot still has to happen before we travel to China. We still need to get fingerprinted (again because our previous fingerprints expired), file a certain form to adopt a specific child, sign a Letter of Acceptance that will be sent from China’s Central Adoption Agency, update our home study, and apply for travel approval and visas
I wish I could share a picture with you guys but I can’t because of privacy laws. If you happen to see me in person, I’d be happy to show you an iPhone pic! I promise I will post the referral along with some pics online when it is legal for me to do so. But I don’t want to inadvertently do anything that would jeopardize our adoption.
Please pray for our daughter who is waiting in China. Pray that God would keep her safe and healthy until we go to China to get to her. Please also pray that the rest of the adoption process would go smoothly so we can travel to China as soon as possible.
*HUGS* Jax
