So I just checked out the new zpizza in Greenhaven. This review is for the food alone since we did takeout.
The pizza was good and flavorful. I loved the zCarnivore pizza. I’m a meat lover so I always have to try the meat pizza. The pizza is much better than your average pizza and has less oil than most pizzas. We ordered the large and it didn’t appear to have a lot of slices. Like I felt my small family of 3 would kill it easily. This pizza is awesome if you really like artisan pizza. This is not your thin crust Italian pizza though. For thin crust Italian pizza, I would still go with the Mustapha at Masulo. For your normal non-artisan pizza, I really like Old Town Pizzeria in Elk Grove.
The arugula salad was very fresh and it accompanied the pizza perfectly. On food alone, zpizza gets 4 stars from me. I will return and dine in sometime and do a follow up edit to this review when I experience the atmosphere and the customer service. I see zpizza as a welcome addition to the Pocket/Greenhaven area. My husband and I also can’t wait go back and pour our own beers from the tap!
