Hi Everyone!
Sorry that I’ve been MIA. We’ve been incredibly busy with our big move. Let me start by saying we feel very blessed and love our new home. It’s just packing and unpacking is tiresome and a bit daunting. I don’t like living out of boxes. Thankfully, some good friends were able to help us get a good start to unpacking and at least our bedroom, Roxy’s bedroom, and our kitchen are set up. We still own our old 3 bedroom home and are planning on keeping it, especially because we aren’t sure we will want to live in a big home when we’re 80. There have been a few hiccups with our big move but nothing major. We weren’t able to get our new carpet in before our move and so it has to be put in afterwards. We also had to do most of the painting inside ourselves (spending thousands of dollars having someone else do it versus spending a few hundred in paint and supplies). Kenny worked 17 days straight before the move so I really had to get friends to help us pack and paint. It’s kind of fun though to fix up our home and to pick out new things for our home. We’ve been to Home Depot almost every other day for the past 2 weeks. Think a lot of physical labor. Since Kenny and I were both sore and in need of a massage we shamelessly had Roxy walk on our backs and it was awesome. I’ll try to post some pics of the inside after we fix up our house a bit more. In the meantime, please enjoy the pics of Roxy giving Baba a massage and Roxy’s 2nd haircut. I hope you’re all having a great week!
XOXO Jax
