Update: Roxy’s 1st World Series Game!!
So anybody that knows our family knows that we’re huge Giants fans AND we love pandas. I blame my sister Ali for the panda obsession. She was always into any kind of bear growing up. Since Roxy is the perfect age to buy cute panda and bear things for, let’s just say she’s accumulated a lot of them. And these days since Pablo Sandoval on the Giants is known as the kung fu panda, we can bust out panda gear while supporting our team.
We we stoked to get tickets this year to the World Series. I’ve been to plenty of Giants games before. But this experience was something else. Just being there was awesome. Everyone seemed to be in a great mood. Roxy had a great time cheering for the Giants. You should have seen her yelling, “Busta Posey!” Also, the Giants WON the game! This means that the series is now 3 to 2 with the Giants in the lead ahead of the Kansas City Royals. Now, the Giants need only to win 1 more game to clinch the World Series!
I love that we can spend quality time as a family at a baseball game. When I was holding Roxy as everyone sang “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” and she was waving her hands in the air, it was such a happy moment. I will never forget it.
My best advice to all of you and especially those adopting is this: Focus on your family and on doing things as a family. Surround your family with people who genuinely love and support you guys. Never feel guilty about doing what’s best for your family, whatever that means and no matter what toxic people or things you need to let go of in the process.
I hope you all have a great week and HAPPY and SAFE HALLOWEEN!
XOXO Jax
