Daisy M. Productions – Wedding & Event Planner – Sacramento, Bay Area & Northern California
I have known Daisy Magsuci of Daisy M. Productions since 2004. Daisy is an incredible person and wedding and event planner who really cares about her clients. She has coordinated my daughter Roxy’s 2nd birthday party, my daughter Roxy’s 3rd birthday party, my cousin’s wedding, our baby shower, my daughter Roxy’s 4th birthday party, and she will be coordinating Carissa’s red egg and ginger party soon.
I can’t even begin to tell you how much she pays attention to small details or emphasize just how far she will go to make your special day or event just right. She organizes vendors with ease and has established relationships with all the vendors that you would need to execute a wedding or any party. If you have a specific vendor in mind, you need only to mention it and she will take care of it. Daisy responds well to text, voice mail, and email and takes every single concern out of your hands. I can’t emphasize enough Daisy’s good communication skills because, as we all know, good communication can make or break any event or wedding.
Roxy’s 2nd Hello Kitty themed birthday party was very difficult to coordinate. Roxy had just come home and we had over 80 people at our old 3 bedroom house who wanted to meet Roxy. Daisy arranged a taco truck as well as Chinese food to cater to people’s different taste. She made sure that vegetarians and people with food allergies had a good amount of food. Roxy loves Hello Kitty so there were cute Hello Kitty decorations and balloons and cute Hello Kitty cookie party favors. People kept complimenting me on how well the party went considering how many people attended. It was the perfect way for us to celebrate Roxy’s 2nd birthday and also welcome her home.
Roxy’s 3rd Frozen themed birthday party was a smaller party with close friends and family. We threw the party together in one weeks time. Daisy still managed to get a bounce house and create a beautiful Frozen theme which Roxy loved. The cupcakes were handmade by Daisy. It was the perfect intimate party.
My cousin’s wedding was an epic masterpiece. For starters, the bride and groom were living in Tokyo and the venue was Solage Calistoga near Napa. We also had relatives flying in from all over the world from Hong Kong, across the United States, and from Toronto, Canada. So Daisy had to deal with coordinating an international wedding and using her own judgment to select vendors for the bride and groom. It was a tedious task that Daisy did meticulously. She made the centerpieces herself and hung the decorations and the lanterns herself using a scissors lift. I recall looking up at her in awe when she was on the scissors lift and wondering how the heck she was going to work that thing. Daisy pulled off my cousin’s wedding without a hitch and furthermore, kept the bride calm. Both the bride and groom were thrilled with their wedding and you can read my cousin Jessica and her husband Adam’s testimonial below.
For our baby shower before Carissa’s arrival, we held it in conjunction with our annual Christmas party. It was a co-ed baby shower so it was definitely bigger than your average shower. I also threw out a lot of details that weren’t necessarily typical. For example, I told Daisy that instead of a cake I wanted a donut bar and that for the favors I wanted purple onesies because I’m not into pink. Daisy listened and worked with Sweet Dozen to arrange a kick ass donut bar with mouthwatering donuts. For the favors she got Kristy Hayashi to make some beautiful purple onesie cookies. She helped to organize a Jeopardy game and even coordinated prizes. Kenny and I both loved our “Baby It’s Cold Outside” themed baby shower.
Roxy’s 4th birthday party had a minion theme. Daisy made the minion cupcakes herself and also made minion favors and little yellow minion party hats for all the kids. Daisy made sure to cater to palates of all the kids and adults in attendance. We had a wide variety of yummy foods. Daisy drove across town just to pick up chow mein and potstickers and also picked up balloons, and arrived early to set everything up. Roxy was thrilled with her party and had a great time with her friends.
When people compliment me on my parties I always smile and say I can’t take credit. As many of you know Kenny and I are really into good food and will go the extra mile to find, eat, and serve good food. But I’m not really what you would call a natural party planner. I’m not into details like decorations or favors. I couldn’t make good cupcakes even if I was using a mix from a box because I would screw something up. But that’s where Daisy comes in. I tell people that I really can’t take credit for my parties, that it’s really all Daisy, and I just happen to be smart enough to hire her. If you’re smart, you’ll book Daisy to plan your special day or party as soon as possible before someone else nabs that day.
I wholeheartedly recommend Daisy M. Productions for all of your event planning or wedding planning needs. She is friendly, thoughtful, detail oriented, dynamic, organized and really knows how to execute a well-planned, stress-free event that is fun and entertaining for all involved. She is a phenomenal problem solver and will totally help you to stay within budget. Daisy works very hard to make her client’s vision a reality. I have no reservations whatsoever about recommending Daisy M. Productions personally or professionally. She is simply the best wedding planner I know and she is also an awesome friend. I’m so thankful that we live in the same city so that Daisy can help to plan more of my parties. Daisy M. Productions is Jax Approved!

Testimonial from my cousin Jessica and her husband Adam about Daisy M. Productions
Daisy is a real gem. As a Canadian/American couple living in Japan, with a hectic travel schedule, in the middle of relocating, and hoping to plan an intimate and elegant wedding in California, we didn’t know where to start.
In steps Daisy – friendly, highly organized, and such a pleasure to work with. She took the time to know us as a couple before planning. She didn’t treat us as an account, but as people – we really appreciated that. Daisy has a genuine gift for connecting well with people and understanding their motivation and needs. She will translate that directly into your event.
I should mention that due to unfortunate circumstances, we cancelled a contract with our previous wedding planner as we discovered that no venue or vendor had been booked 6 months before the wedding. While looking for a new wedding planner, we really needed someone who could step in to save the day. We “met” Daisy on FaceTime at the recommendation of my matron of honor and cousin, Jackie. What a blessing! Not only was Daisy a great communicator, but she was always very conscious of where we were in the world to have a chat or discuss planning.
Our wedding was full of small personal touches that complemented our style: handmade centre pieces, candid photo decorations, romantic flower arrangements, etc. The icing on the cake was seeing Daisy get on a scissor lift to decorate our wedding hall with paper lanterns the day before the event. I asked, “when did you learn how to operate this thing?” “Umm, today. Anything for you, lady!” It really showed how sweet she is… She arranged to have my husband’s suit size changed after a mix up with the tailor (as a last minute request). She coordinated with a completely international wedding party from around the world.
Our account manager at the venue, make up artist, and several relatives all commented that I was the calmest bride they had ever seen. Of course I was, because 1) I was about to marry my best friend, and 2) Daisy had everything covered to make this happen. Everything was stress-free and peaceful on our wedding day so that my husband and I could focus on enjoying the moment.
Through it all, Daisy did everything and more to make our wedding such a memorable day. My husband and I are so appreciative of Daisy M. Productions for the help, support, and friendship. We would highly recommend Daisy for any event planning (and only wish we lived closer!).
