So Kenny and I took a trip to Seattle for Mikhail and Kristel’s Wedding. The day before the wedding we went to their pre-wedding party at Wann Izakaya. Think Japanese tapas. Please see my review on Yelp. I highly recommend it.
The next day Kenny went to go take pictures as a member of the wedding party. I tried to shop but was booted out of the mall when the fire alarm went off. Not one to be daunted, I walked by a spa called Yoga Spa and Salon and decided to get a facial. Fortunately, they were able to take me right away and helped to clear up some of the blemishes on my face.
It was a great wedding and we were genuinely happy for the bride and groom. Kenny was a groomsman and coming down the aisle in the processional he grabbed me and kissed me! (I was so not prepared for that one!) I was in hysterics when they introduced the wedding party at the reception because everyone walked in wearing Alice in Wonderland hats. You’ll notice the groom was wearing the Mad Hatter hat. We danced the night away in proper fashion. The next day we hit Top’s Donuts and a bbq at a friend’s house. We got at Seattle Tacoma International Airport 35 minutes before take off and got right to our plane just as they were boarding. Skycap check-in (the check-in outside where you pay a dollar a bag) is the best!
Anyway, that was definitely an awesome weekend. I want to go back to Seattle with Kenny again so I can explore some more. Congratulations Mikhail and Kristel!
