My husband Kenny is famous for these hot wings. Be warned, they have a kick to them and they go fast!
20 chicken wings
½ cup of flour
1 tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp chili powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
2/3 cup melted unsalted butter
2/3 cup Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
2 tbsp Siracha
2 tbsp Tapatio
Tabasco to taste
celery
blue cheese dressing
- Mix flour, cayenne pepper, chili powder, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl.
- Dry wings as you best as can with paper towels. Place in 1 gallon ziplock bag with the above mixture and shake liberally to coat wings evenly. Set aside.
- Combine butter and the hot sauces together in saucepan and cook on low, stirring the butter and sauces together. Set aside ~1/2 of this hot sauce/butter mixture.
- Preheat oven to 425 F. Dunk the wings individually in one portion of the sauce and place on foil lined baking pan. (If you have a pan with slits to drain, even better).
- Bake wings in oven for 30min for a convection oven and 40min for a conventional oven. Let rest for 5 min.
- Depending on how saucy you like your wings, you can either brush on the remaining portion of your hot sauce/butter mixture or shake the wings in a gallon size ziplock bag to coat evenly. You may need to make more sauce.
- Place on plate. Serve with celery and blue cheese dressing. Enjoy!
