WOW! 5 star review baby! Ravenous far exceeded my expectations. I never expected to find a nice restaurant with upscale food in the Greenhaven area.
I went here with my husband and family and honestly everything was great. We shared some mussels in wine sauce. They were tender, garlicky, and just as mussels should be. My husband had the Kobe beef steak with mashed potatoes, carrots, and spinach. It was really tasty and the steak was cooked perfectly. He asked for it medium rare and it came out exactly as he wanted it. I had the risotto with spinach, mushrooms, shaved parmesan, and truffle oil. It was really flavorful and I really loved the flavor of the mushrooms so much that I didn’t even miss the meat. I could taste the truffle oil infused into the rice. I think I was talking about the risotto the whole 15 minute ride home. =)
I would advise making a reservation if you come on a weekend because this place is small and gets crowded. I will most DEFINITELY be back here. Heck ya!
