I love the fact that they serve fried fish with the meal. The side dishes are about what you would expect. The kimchi is awesome. Today, I ordered the kimchi beef soondobu medium spicy and it was pretty good. The broth was tasty. It actually wasn’t that spicy. I was thinking I should have gotten spicy. But overall, I had a pleasant experience. They did bring out some eggs for our table to crack into our tofu soups and didn’t charge us for them. I also really liked the iced green tea I ordered.
My previous experiences here have all been mostly positive if you’re talking about the food. The service is mediocre here and I will say the wait sucks if you come at night but you really have to give BCD some credit for being open 24 hours. The prices are pretty reasonable. My tofu soup was $8.99 and I couldn’t even finish.
They really need to open some BCD Tofu places in Nor Cal!
